Dear Dr. Gott: Over the past 18 months, my 28-year-old granddaughter has been on your no-flour, no-sugar diet. She has lost 170 pounds and uses a treadmill for one hour every day. Her only problem now is getting rid of the extra skin on her arms and belly.

Do you know what sort of exercises she can do that will make this skin shrink?

What diet pills work from your own experience ?

I’m looking to boost my weight loss effort with some diet pills so I would like to know what diet pills you have tried and work. Please don’t post to say that diet pills are bad etc. becasue I’m using the the pills along with exercise and healthy eating. Also, please don’t post about diet pills that don’t work, I only want to know the ones that work. Thanks

can i sue for a weight loss study i did and they didnt pay me?

A lot of studies that provide money have contracts that you have to sign and you would have to read the fine print in order to find out exactly what terms are specified in the study. A lot of times when people sign up for things it is just a “go ahead and sign and date on the x” most people want to get the paperwork over with and they just sign without reading every last detail. Some places will work with you depending on the way you go about it. Call the clinic where the study took place and ask to speak to a manager. If they do not work with you, then I am sure that you could have a lawyer read over the contract or terms to see if there are any legal matters to take care of. It will most likely cost you more in lawyer fees and court costs and time than the actual money you will get in the end.

What are some good tips on losing weight?

I wanna lose some weight so im just wondering wut are some good ways to do that?
drink 8-10 8oz glasses of water a day, eat small healthy snacks between meals (banana, apple, yogurt, etc) and try to get 20-30 minutes of exercise each day. try to eat fruits or veggies at every meal

Does anyone have tips to lose weight faster with walking?

I am trying to get more active. I want to lose weight with walking or jogging, but when I jog it hurts my knees. Any tips?


Weights. Doing multiple reps with light weights will burn more fat calories than walking or jogging. Especially since your knee hurts. Walking is better exercise than running if you are a woman. Walking for 30 minutes everyday will show you some results but walking combined with weight training will have you slim in no time at all.

What are some tricks and tips to losing weight?

I really want to get more fit this season, especially since I’m going to be a freshman in high school next year. I take aerobics and stuff like that, but are there other thing I can do to lose weight?


1. drink lots of water 2. stay away from fats and sugars 3. eat a salad for breakfast and lunch and a regular meal for supper (with the salad try to eat dry or with a lowfat dressing) 4. exersize regularly with a balance of excersizes to target all different parts of your body I believe to be fit in general you should try to gain muscle weight and not just be anorexic and drop pounds excessively

Your Best Tips For Losing Weight And Getting In Shape?

Give me your best tips for losing weight and getting in shape. Esp in the areas of abs and upper arms. I know, I know diet and excerise is the best way to lose weigth and be healthy. I just want the best tips for getting in shape. I want a flat tummy and good upper arms.
One big thing i have found out is stop drinking soda. Just doing that i lost 12lbs. All i drank was water, tea, milk and juice. Other than that yes exercise and watching what you eat are key but in doing so you need to make sure your body gets 100% of the vitamins and nutrients it needs so that it can work 100% with you when burning calories.

Any tips on losing weight?

I have been trying to lose weight and I have been doing really well but I’m 3 weeks in an I really am finding things hard. Missing chocolate big time! I need some words of wisdom, something I don’t know please, I don’t want answers like eat veg and exercise- I aready know that! Please any tips would be great! Thanks! you seem to have a gr8 attitude to loosing weight already and as you know that you have to eat healthily and do some exercise , i wont mention that part . OK I’m guessing that you eating pretty much the same thing each day ( correct me if I’m wrong ) maybe this is starting to make food boring , i would recommend a varied diet , there’s loads of great tasting stuff out there ( including stuff to snack on ) , try and change things up so you don’t get sick of one particular meal ( salad for example ) . and don’t forget you are allowed to treat your self now and again , you can have chocolate , you can have pizza and Indian food ( and all the rest ) as long as you eat healthy and exercise the rest of the week maybe you should have a “treat day” were you can eat anything you want Friday is perfect for this, and its something to look forward too ( end of the week and beginning of the weekend) any way I’m on my treat day now lol and I’m having a few beers ( a few to many ) and i think I’m beginning to ramble3 lol so I’ll try to sum what I’m saying up - your going in the right direction , dont forget all the tasty healthy stuff that you can eat , treat your self once a week ( for being good , you do deserve it ) and dont forget the reason why you wanted to loose in the first place , remember these and you’ll achieve your aim ,keep it up best of luck from simon t xxxx ps ; welcome to the mad house which is yahoo answers

What are some basic tips for losing weight?

I’m 14 and would like to lose a bit of weight. I’m not worried about losing weight really fast or anything. I have about 5 months to slim down. I just want to get rid of my big hips and tummy. I don’t mind being a bit curvy still but I’d like to be able to wear closer fitting clothes and not be uncomfortable.
try preparing your meals as you usually would, take 1/3 of the meat and starches off the plate, leave any veggies or salads. Also try drinking a bottle of water with a meal, drink between each bite. Try to squeeze in 20-30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week, weather it be walking, yardwork, heavy duty housework, try to break a sweat. You should lose 2-3 lbs a week this way. Also, stop drinking soda, it’s so bad for weight loss. Switch to lowfat or non-fat dairy, salad dressings, etc. Keep in mind a serving size of meat is about the size of a deck of playing cards.

What are some tips to losing weight while having a desk job?

Just got a desk job about 4 months ago and Ive gained all kinds of weight! What are some tips for eating right, what kind of excercise etc that could help. BTW….I’m still damn sexy ;0)
If you are given a 15 minute break, use that time to take a walk. Either outside or around the building. At lunch, spend half of your hour eating and the other walking. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies throughout the day and drink plenty of water. I went from a Field job to a desk job and put on 10+ lbs., it is not that unusual.
