Nutritionists: Eat wise this Thanksgiving

Everything from waistbands to heart attacks increase during the holidays. So what can you do to prevent those unwanted tips of the scale or visits to the doctor?

Try concentrating more on friends and family, rather than food and drinks, say local nutritionists.

It starts with Thanksgiving Day and doesn’t end until New Years — an influx of meals high in carbohydrates, treats rich in sugar and drinks full of tasty seasonal mixtures and alcohol.
